When young people leave the foster care system, their future success can be in jeopardy – one in four will end up homeless within six months, one in five males is likely to be incarcerated before age 25 and fewer than three percent will earn college degrees.
After earning both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Lander, emergency management graduate Macy Sinner is now at the center of helping create resilient communities in the face of disasters.
Lander University today announced that Taylor Cook, an experienced veteran in higher education with roots in South Carolina’s Upstate, has been selected as the University’s next Vice President for University Advancement.
