Student Alumni Ambassadors

The Student Alumni Ambassadors (SAA) serve as the official link between current students and The Lander Alumni Association. This select group of student leaders represents Lander at University events, promotes school pride and builds meaningful connections with alumni and friends of the University.

 

What SAA Members Do?

  • Serve as Campus Hosts
    Represent Lander at major events such as Homecoming and Alumni Weekend, Ring Ceremony and Senior Picnic.
  • Promote Lander Spirit
    Lead efforts that build campus pride and celebrate Lander traditions.
  • Engage with Alumni
    Help welcome alumni back to campus and share the student perspective on university life today.
  • Develop Leadership Skills
    Participate in networking and professional development opportunities with alumni mentors and University leaders.
  • Give Back
    Support philanthropic and local service initiatives that enhance student experience and strengthen the Lander community.

Applications open each spring for the following academic year. Students can learn more by contacting the Office of Alumni Affairs at alumni@lander.edu or completing the registration form to join!
